Claude Code

Claude Code has first-class support for remote HTTP MCP servers, which makes it one of the simplest ways to connect UserJot over MCP.

What you need

Before you start, make sure you have:

• the UserJot MCP endpoint: https://api.userjot.com/v1/mcp

• a UserJot API token from Settings → API Tokens

Add the server

Run:

claude mcp add --transport http userjot https://api.userjot.com/v1/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_USERJOT_API_TOKEN"

Claude Code stores the server in its MCP configuration and makes it available to the current scope.

Verify the connection

Check that the server was added:

claude mcp list

You can also inspect MCP status from inside Claude Code with:

/mcp

Notes

• Anthropic currently recommends HTTP for remote MCP servers when available.

• If you want the server available in every project, use Claude Code's user scope instead of the default local scope.

• Keep your token out of version-controlled config files unless you have a safe secret-management flow in place.
