Smarter reply notification
When I reply to a comment of my own, I receive an email notifying me that my comment has been replied to. It would be smarter and cheaper if the notification were only sent if the replies were from other people and not myself.

Great point! Getting a notification for your own reply is definitely a bit silly. We agree this should be changed and have added it to our roadmap. Thanks for catching that!
