Show the merge activity in feedback activity section

I merged a feature request with a similar one and only the comment carried over, and now the comments don't really make sense because I wasn't responding to the OP of this feedback. I want to see the merge of the original ticket in the activity section here within the comments and have a link back to the original.

Hey folks, I've just pushed a completely new comment section and added submission events. The changes will start to show up going forward. Please give it a try and let me know what you think.

I come with a similar request. When merging a post, save the description of the original post as a comment. Sometimes the user adds an additional sub-feature that I would like to keep, so others can vote on this comment as well.
