Request: Feedback/Bug Report Template or Guide

Hi, we’d really appreciate the ability to set a template for feedback or bug reports. At the very least, it would be helpful to provide a guide so users know what information they should include. Right now, it’s difficult for us to gather basic details such as screenshots, OS environment, or which login method was used. We often have to ask follow up questions for this information separately. As a result, many reports come in very rough and lack the context needed to investigate the issue properly. Compared to the feedback platform we used previously, this has been one of the biggest pain points for us.

Hey Clara! I can absolutely add this as an option to UserJot! Would you please tell me a bit more about how you’d imagine it would work best? Are you thinking that it would be a placeholder text or a prefilled value that the end users would have to modify/edit?

Ideally it would be best if we could customize and create our own question fields. But if that is complicated to implement, it would already help a lot if we could at least include some prefilled text that guides users on what information they should provide. One concern is that if the prefilled text disappears as soon as the user starts typing, they might not be able to refer back to it. So perhaps it might be better to display a short guide or hint near the input field so users can see what information is expected while writing the report. Not sure which approach would be easier on the implementation side, so just sharing a few possible options here.

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm going to tackle this issue this week and see what i can come up with. I'll give you early access as soon as it's implemented to get some more feedback :)
