Haha, thank you for your feedback! This is something I'm actively thinking about and still unsure whether to keep it or remove it. I'll wait for some more feedback on this before I make a decision.
Thanks for the feedback! We auto-like your own comments/posts to keep things fair, otherwise users who manually like their own content would have a slight advantage over those who don't. This way everyone starts on equal footing and the votes from others are what really matter. Appreciate you thinking through the details though!
I think this approach is ok when you create a new feature request. But I am talking about comments under a post. In my opinion, there is no reason to like that comment created by myself. Does liking comments count anyhow to the post likes? I think that would be unnecessarily complicated. If not, I suggest disabling the option to like one´s own comments as I don´t see any other purpose for doing that.
Thanks for clarifying! To answer your question, no, comment likes don't count toward the post's ranking or priority. They're just a lightweight way for others to signal "this was helpful." I follow a similar pattern to Reddit here, where your own content starts with your vote included. That said, I'll keep this in mind if I revisit comment interactions down the line. Appreciate the thoughtful feedback!

Yeah, I don't think it's necessary
