Fix Sorting by "Trending"

When I order feedback by "Trending", it shows posts with only one like at the top. So what logic is under this? What does it mean that it is trending if it is not the number of likes/comments in a short period of time?

Hey! Thanks for the feedback on the Trending sort. What Trending does: It ranks posts by recent momentum, combining engagement (votes and comments), how recent that engagement is, and post status. The goal is to surface posts that are actively getting attention, not just the newest or most‑voted posts overall. Why you might see posts with few votes at the top: When most posts have similar low engagement (like 1 vote each), the algorithm doesn’t have much signal to differentiate, so fresher posts tend to rank higher. As your board gets more activity, you’ll see posts with bursts of recent engagement rise to the top. I’ve tweaked the algorithm to give more weight to engagement over pure recency. Posts with meaningful activity should now rank better even if they’re older. Would love your feedback on how it looks now!
